Job summary
Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? Amazon is looking for an experienced and innovated Business Analyst to join the Grocery Partnerships team.

Our team enables Prime customers to shop selection from grocery stores on and receive their order via ultra-fast delivery in 2 hours or less. In this role, you will innovate on behalf of customers and our Grocery partners, bring new selection online, and change the way people buy groceries.

This role will be part of the Catalog, Selection, and Pricing effort on the Grocery Partnership team. The team owns on-boarding merchant selection, ensuring that every item in-store has a detail page online. The right person for this role will have experience working with ambiguous data sets, with the ability to create scalable, automated, tools and reporting. This role requires an individual with excellent statistical and analytical abilities, a strong attention to detail, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions (like Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Quicksight, Redshift). They will need outstanding business acumen and ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both business owners and other analytics teams. Flexibility, influencing others, and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience working with Text based data sets, cleaning and preparing data
• Experience in SQL


• Highly proficient using at least one data visualization product (Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, etc.)
• Advanced working knowledge of data mining, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
• Proven track record of crystallizing out impactful and actionable insight from big data.
• Identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale ad-hoc analyses
• Develop think big ideas to drive customer insights, engagement acquisition and retention
• Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience presenting to senior executives preferred.
