DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Dental Assistant at the Selinsgrove Center, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating and assisting with Dental Services. Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Travel and Overtime: As needed.
  • May change based on operational needs.

In compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, if you are selected for this position, you must show, at the time of hire, verification that you have received either a single-dose COVID-19 vaccination, or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination, unless you are exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination due to an ADA or religious accommodation. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in a dental office or clinic; or
  • Successful completion of an accredited Dental Assisting certificate program; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Necessary Special Requirement:

  • Successful completion of the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) Exam as required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    • Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
