The ideal candidate will perform the following tasks, which include (but are not limited to):
*Act as site recruiter: assess staff needs, posts jobs, sources candidates, coordinate interviews, pre-employment test, employment/background verification, drug test/physicals, manage compliance with AAP/EEO/VEVRAA, administer new hire onboarding/orientation and succession planning.
*Administers Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Processes and adjudicates step 3 grievances on time.
*Develop, implement and communicate personnel policies and procedures in compliance with State/Federal laws. Resolve employee disputes, conduct investigations and manage disciplinary actions. Facilitate union grievance process as assigned and maintains all related records.
*Act as a benefits liaison educating and assisting employees on medical, dental, vision, ancillary benefits and 401k. Administer Short and Long-Term Disability, COBRA and FMLA programs in accordance with state/federal law.
*Facilitate performance review process and coordinates recognition programs.
*Administer time keeping for hourly and salary employees, including verifying/correcting time records and submitting payroll with supporting documents.
*Enter and maintain data in the HRIS system, personnel and medical files for all hires, terminations, promotions and transfers.
*Conduct exit interviews, prepares employee separation notices and related documentation.
