Function: Supply Chain            

Position Summary:

The Logistics and Outside Repair lead is responsible for ensuring all engines and major components are shipped door to door according to customer requirements. The lead is also responsible for all component repair work that is required by outside services. The lead will be responsible for the overall strategy in choosing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring excellent supplier performance.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

•      Identify key suppliers by understanding customer needs and matching supplier performance to those needs

•      Placing quotes to secure best deliverables for logistics and subcontract repair requirements

•      Understanding technical repair workscopes and communicating seamlessly with supply base

•      Managing repair delivery dates to support the requirements for engine build without disruption to the build schedule

•      Review and implement inventory replenishment processes to enable part availability

•      Ensure unserviceable material is executed as required by forecasting

•      Support business development to enable the ability to win new business

•      Manage operating system and use of Quantum (ERP system) to manage the day to day orders

•      Support audits as needed

Required Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Management or 5+ years of equivalent experience

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

·      Experience with Quantum (preferred)

·      Experience in Aerospace or technical industry (preferred)

·      Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

·      Strong analytical and problem solving (data mining, reporting, analysis)

·      Excellent organizational skills

·      Willingness to learn and adapt to a changing environment

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in both formal and informal situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects, plan effectively and exhibit poise and professionalism in stressful situations.
