DESCRIPTION

Job summary
The Brand Experience Marketing team is hiring a Marketing Research Manager that will be responsible for generating insights that will help our team better understand and deliver value to help Sellers build their Brand on Amazon. The role requires a deep understanding of designing, planning, and conducting of qualitative and quantitative research. The candidate will also need to be familiar with the latest research design techniques, and be able to translate research output into action-driving recommendations.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage all phases of qualitative and quantitative research projects from problem definition to delivery of research assets and reporting of findings.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data.
• Analysis of data from interviews, focus groups, questionnaires, or other qualitative or quantitative research to build compelling insights.
• Author reports and make recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Build relationships with a broad set of cross-functional Amazon business partners to understand their challenges and priorities, define a research roadmap, and drive actions through insight delivery.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Economics, Statistics, or relevant field of study.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as Market Research, Customer Insights, or Consulting.
• Experience in developing surveys with documented examples of work.
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles, and develop processes at scale
• Strategic thinker with the ability to see/understand the big picture
• Detail oriented

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in B2B Market Research efforts for Technology or Ecommerce organizations.
• Strong proficiency with Qualtrics
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams
• Experience utilizing data and analytics to formulate program objectives, solve business problems, and drive process improvements.
