We need someone who has a strong interest in networking hardware and software. We have a great opportunity for someone well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure. This Network Engineer role is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is a permanent opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks
• Manage a secure transfer of data to multiple locations by way of internal and external networks
• Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers
• Utilize both traditional and creative methods to engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks
• Initiate and implement network test facilities

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Voice Over Internet (Voip)
• Cisco CallManager experience preferred
• Well-founded grasp of WANs (Wide Area Network)
• Deep understanding of SIP
• Proven knowledge of LAN (local area networks)
• PBX System experience highly desired
• Genesys SIP experience
• General familiarity with Telephony System
• Desired skills include an understanding of networking such as switching and routing
• 3+ years networking experience
