Position Information: Description
This is a part-time, non-benefitted position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Demonstrate expertise and in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of strength, conditioning, speed, agility, and mobilityMonitor and evaluate progress of athletesInteract with a wide array of socio-economic backgroundsWork within the policies and procedures of the university environmentEstablish and manage goalsOperate as a team player within a groupWilling and able to follow the directions of supervisors and coaches
Required Competencies
Demonstrate knowledge in:Sport skillsTeaching and training techniquesOrganizational skillsCommunication and interpersonal skillsNCAA rulesAbility to motivate athletes of different sports and experience
Minimum Requirements

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)
  • CPR/First Aid/AE
  • Previous experience in Kinesiology

Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Classification$14.00 per hour, non-exempt, non-benefitted, part-time

Work Schedule
Hours will vary based upon programs in-season/offseason with no more than 30 hours per week.To Apply
