DESCRIPTION

Job summary
Does the opportunity of accelerating growth of a new business and innovating to delight customers appeal to you? Amazon’s Gift Card team is responsible for creating and enhancing gift card and stored value products sold globally via Amazon’s website, corporate sales, and third-party stores.

Amazon’s Gift Card business recently launched a new product that is expected to significantly contribute to the organization’s growth. This leader will be critical in solving scaling challenges to unlock this growth.

This is a global role that will have direct ownership over large programs, new product launches including expansion into new countries, improvements to the end-to-end product CX, and establishing SOPs and best practices to help scale the business. This leader will have a high degree of visibility across the organization and work across a broad group of stakeholders from product, marketing, operations, CS, accounting, legal (and more!) to deliver results for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
· Drive continuous improvement across the end-to-end customer journey.
· Build new mechanisms to support new product launches and cross-team initiatives, as well as audit mechanisms to support post-launch
· Manage international team partnerships to launch new products
· Communicate regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership, with an eye to looking around corners to maintain project timelines
· Identify operational gaps, build new processes with stakeholders, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Leverage learnings to influence the product roadmap

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of experience in program or project management
· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
· Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, ability to manage dependencies, and drive progress on timelines
· Strong communication skills to drive discussions with a diverse set of stakeholders and reach actionable conclusions
· Prior experience owning a new, large project/program
· Strong evidence of using data to inform decisions
· Experience working in a diverse team requiring strong relationship and team-building skills
· Demonstrated track record of delivering results
· Fluency in English in both written and verbal communication
· Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience working in a multinational e-commerce organization of similar size and scope
· Experience working across multiple geographies
· Proven track record of program management and creating solutions that scale
· Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
· Strong project and process management skills
· Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals
· Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment.
