Job Description
The Public Area Attendant maintains lobby and public facilities which include, lobby restrooms, pool area, front desk and all offices in a clean condition. This position requires attendant to portray positive image of the property to guests in a pleasant and informative matter.

Essential Functions
Work Experience
- Sweeps entryways and ensures all entryway mats are clean
- Empties ashtrays and removes all trash from all areas
- Ensures all umbrella stands are polished
- Polishes furniture and fixtures
- Keeps the front of the hotel free from trash
- Vacuums rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture
- Keeps all public areas clean and free of trash
- Cleans mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays
- Doors cleaned and mark-free
- Dusts and polishes metal work
- Collects soiled linen supplies in floor linen closets
- Constantly checks restrooms for cleanliness
- Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels in all restrooms
- Arranges sofa cushions in lobby area
- Responds to guest requests and inquiries assist guests with questions and is able to give directions
