What we’re looking for…
Oyster is in search of a Sales Operations Manager to jump in and help the commercial team to continue its rapid growth. This role is critical to the success of the team and Oyster is looking for someone who has passion for their role and can contribute to both the success of the team and also the culture of the organisation, considering the cross functional nature of the role. A successful candidate will have experience across all aspects of revenue planning (pipeline and forecasting, compensation and quota, headcount and capacity planning) with a strong understanding of the sales process and supporting tech stack.
This is a fully remote position that may sit anywhere within the Americas or EMEA.
Responsibilities

- Work with the Sales Leadership Team to enable the success of a growing number of functions including Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Sales Product Specialists, Account Managers and more.
- Define and execute on the Sales Operations operations remit, reporting into and working with the Director of Revenue Operations.
- Manage key aspects of revenue planning. Building a best-in-class forecasting methodology and owning compensation design, quota setting and territory + headcount planning. Working closely with Finance, HR and the Commercial Leadership Team.
- In conjunction with other members of the revenue operations team, finance and data & analytics, build a data driven culture that empowers individual contributors right up to senior leadership.
- Help establish an industry-leading sales process and instil a culture of continuous improvement for each of the commercial teams. Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, making the appropriate recommendations to management.
- Develop, manage and improve key metrics and performance reporting across sales organisation to measure sales and business performance and develop actionable insights to improve them
- Own the sales technology stake to ensure the team is operating as efficiently as possible and the right internal teams have access to the right information.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to manage the Salesforce CRM to ensure it meets the rapidly evolving needs of the organisation
- Be a key support of all individual contributors and managers in the commercial organisation, remaining available to them to coach, provide advice or help unlock bottlenecks in the process or organisation

Qualifications 📜

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 4+ years of highly analytical experience, ideally in sales or business operations. Experience at a fast-paced technology company preferred.
- Results oriented; exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, organisational and critical thinking skills
- High level proficiency in Salesforce.com, Excel/Google sheets, or other business intelligence tooling
- Salesforce Certification, or equivalent experience.
- True passion for solving problems – ability to creatively solve complex problems that provide tangible results within our Sales organization
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and create unconventional solutions.
