School Based Counselor Jobs at Good Samaritan Boys Ranch – Brighton, MO (On-site)

SCHOOL-BASED COUNSELOR POSITION:

We are currently looking for a LPC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist to join our team to provide therapeutic services in the Pleasant Hope District.

The school-based counselor will provide mental health services to students experiencing mental health difficulties, behavioral issues at school or at home, and/or struggles with academic or social situations. These services will include referral, treatment, and follow-up. The counselor will work with the school and the family to ensure that the student receives the best possible care. The Counselor will make referrals to community services/resources as necessary. Documentation of sessions and treatment is required.

The ideal candidate has experience working with youth and families, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and on team, and the desire to help young people grow.

Qualifications: A Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist is required for this position.
