Senior BA/PM Delivery Lead – Technology Jobs at Bank of America – Houston, TX

The Volcker Technology team needs a strong PM/ BA to manage the project to update our regulatory monitoring/reporting capabilities to the demands of the new Volcker 2.1 regulations. Manages the end-to-end delivery including the collection and translation of business requirements into project plans, effectively planning and running meetings, articulating and tracking dependencies and managing service providers and stakeholders to project completion. Rigorously manages scope. Plans and coordinates project deliverables across multiple internal and external teams. Creates and maintains overall project plan. Responsible for communicating project status across delivery teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.

Required Skills:

• Experience with large scale program / project Management for at least 3 years. Financial Services experience
• Strong written and verbal communicator
• Minimum 2 years of Scrum (or some other Agile methodology) experience
• Proven ability to matrix-manage direct and cross-functional teams
• Dynamic, capable of juggling several critical priorities at once
• Cross functional with strong business analysis, problem solving, quality management, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills; MS Project, Visio, PPT
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
