WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Senior Knowledge Analyst (SKA) within BCG’s TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunication) Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, bringing in knowledge, expertise and insights whilst working together with case and proposal teams to provide knowledge assets, analysis and expert advisory. You’ll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex issues.
Additionally, you will act as the knowledge lead for our TMT-Technology sub-sector, Cloud/SaaS/Applications, and work closely with the sub-sector leadership team in developing existing &new intellectual property and knowledge assets. You will work on commercialization efforts for the sector, in conjunction with business leaders, supporting marketing efforts, conferences and publications. As a Senior Knowledge Analyst, you will also assist with future on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.

YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches.
- Expertise & solid knowledge of the Technology industry, especially around cloud infrastructure, IaaS, cloud architecture, and cloud ecosystem, etc.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize, analyze and deliver data and insights toward specific client context.
- Communicating with senior stakeholders, in a credible and confident way
- Being thought partner and client focused
- Codifying knowledge and maintaining assets and tools for the topic/sector based on different client contexts
- Flexibility and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 3+ years of industry experiences, and/or 1-2+ years of consulting experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree with high academic achievement required; Advanced Degree preferred; Major in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
- Relevant experiences in the Technology industry (cloud vendors/hyperscalers) in engineering, product development, product management is preferred; Or at least 1-2+ years of related consulting experiences (top-tier management consulting or technology consulting firms)
- Deep expertise in one or more of the below topics: cloud infrastructure, cloud architecture, hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, Kubernetes, containerization, etc. With your self-identified expertise area, you have deep understanding of the technology platform and business value; you can articulate the various technology layers, competitive landscape and key players, innovation trends, challenges and best practices.
- Fluency in English
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
YOU’LL WORK WITH
The new team member will support the Technology Sector by providing expertise on Software/Applications/Cloud Technologies and provide analytical support for consulting teams and supporting both local and global practice development initiatives.
Work with case (and proposal) teams:
- Scopes knowledge needs of case teams & liaises with team members
- Provides customized knowledge and analysis for client work, occasionally providing client facing expertise
- Provides customized knowledge and analysis for client work, prepares accurate, well developed documents and PowerPoint decks
- Establishes credibility with case teams by delivering original analysis and insights to case team
- Provides thought partnership through problem solving and leveraging topic/sector expertise insights
- Captures, codifies & maintains knowledge content for Technology sector.
Work with topic/sector teams:
- Builds and updates new topic/sector-related customized knowledge products
- Controls quality & supervises contribution / updates to existing topic/sector knowledge base
- Reviews knowledge products and ensures they are current/relevant and updates when appropriate
- Assures proper sign-off before uploading materials into KM and contributes to sanitization
- Promotes innovation at BCG by identifying knowledge capture opportunities
- Collaborates on PA intellectual capital development such as Tier 1s
- Contributes to content development around topic/sector for TMT meetings and trainings.
