The HVAC Mechanical Engineer will perform project planning and design for facility mechanical systems and infrastructure with a focus on HVAC systems and provides design engineering (plans, specifications, calculations and cost estimates) for new facilities, equipment and facility modernization projects. This role acts as a discipline technical lead, directs other engineers, and coordinates with other disciplines assigned to project.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering degree required from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering design and analysis experience.
• Valid Professional Engineer license.
• Experience in 3D drafting/modeling software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD or PTC Creo.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail applications.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Effective, proficient communication (written and verbal) skills.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Current US Passport
• Valid/Unrestricted FL driver license

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

• Must be a US Citizen for Security Clearance requirements.
• Active/Interim or ab
