As a member of the AWS Professional Services Security Practice you will have the opportunity to pioneer security solutions supporting customer initiatives that are meaningful to their business.

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, results oriented senior technical program manager to help build our ProServe Security team. This team is responsible for driving innovative enhancements through automation that raise the bar for how our customers manage security, governance, risk and compliance in the cloud. The successful candidate is one who loves managing programs and is committed to formulating and implementing wide-ranging process improvements. You are passionate about the security of the cloud and you want to solve real business problems. You possess strong communication skills, can operate independently, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You have an understanding of basic technical concepts, and possess a broad understanding of AWS services. Key job responsibilities
· Working across teams to drive, manage and track both short and long-term projects.
· Identifying functional and technical requirements by collecting inputs from business, security, and technical teams.
· Able to synthesize data and analytics to formulate sound program objectives and goals
· Develop and manage projects from ideation through execution, including project scope, timeline, and project execution; coordinating remote work closely with field teams.
· Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
· Develop business metrics and KPIs to increase adoption and develop audit mechanisms (e.g., metrics, reporting, evaluation standards) to track and report on adoption.
· Provide consistent, executive-level reporting on project status and outcomes
· Demonstrate strong communication skills (both verbal and written) across all levels of the business.
· Influence senior leaders across AWS Professional Services, and communicate progress, changes, issues, and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders.
· This is internal as well as customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed.


* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
* 8+ years of experience in project/program management in a technical field.
* 5+ years’ experience in IT security, compliance, or risk management.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills across all levels of the business from technical partners to senior leadership.


* Technical expertise (design and/or implementation) in Cloud Computing technologies
* Aptitude for technology, able to learn new tools quickly
* Experience building an enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program’s evolution to meet new requirements.
* Ability to dive deep into business processes, simplify and drive results to meet customer needs.
* Experience working with external and internal customers, partners and stakeholders to gather business requirements, develop product features and create technical designs.
* Proven ability to manage ambiguity, and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done.
