We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer who will be responsible for design, development, and launch of core product features. As an engineer on the team, you will play an key role in design and implementation of product features from beginning to end. You will:

  • Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions
  • Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables
  • Write high quality distributed system software
  • Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.

The ideal candidate is passionate about new opportunities, a commitment to team work, and experience creating reliable, scalable, and high performance products with fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.

  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3 + years of experience building production software systems
  • 2+ years of experience in distributed system design and algorithms
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Computer Science fundamentals experience in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Experience with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Objective C, Python) and open-source technologies (Linux, SQLite, OpenGL, Spring, Hibernate)


  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability
  • Experience defining, developing and maintaining web service API’s
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  • Experience influencing software engineers best practices within your team
