Epitec is seeking a Sr. HR Project Manager to join the team of a global manufacturing company out of SouthWest Michigan.
- Contract through March 2022, very likely to extend or convert based on performance
- 40 hrs per week
- No C2C
Hiring PMO (~75% of your time):
Lead all aspects of Project Management for the Global Product Organization (“GPO”) hiring (~250-300 hires); including but not limited to, coordinating and facilitating meetings, logistics, communications and Project Management and Governance meeting materials (escalations, issues logs, status reports, etc.)
Be accountable for overall project plan with project leads and extended team members
Be accountable for the overall success of hiring to the business defined timelines (on time, on quality, on budget)
Manage/monitor overall hiring progress on a weekly basis and lead key project management and governance meetings
Preparation of decks to report out to senior leadership on the progress of the project including identifying key decision points
Drive timely resolution with project team (or appropriately escalation) of issues, risks and/or approvals
Prepare & maintain hiring pools to ensure similar positions are grouped together over multiple locations for more efficient hiring
Ensuring role descriptions are updated accounting for regional or role specific nuances including need to have vs nice to have
Partner with talent acquisition & the business to build and execute marketing strategies & tactics (GPO employee value proposition, linkedin posting, social media advertising, creation of videos or other material as needed, etc)
Support various retention activities/initiatives & reporting out of those activities
GPO Organization Governance (~25% of your time):
Support GPO HR governance via the preparation of various sources of data (headcount, $, attrition, etc), decks, and provide analysis of such data to make insightful recommendations
Biweekly reviews of Organizational Changes requests with Roberto Campos, Brooke Yost and Finance
SPOC for GPO hiring approvals acting as a liaison between the GPO HRBPs and the talent acquisition team
Monthly headcount clean up
Monthly headcount distribution to HRBP’s & GPO Staff – Planners (Separately)
Monthly preparation of Ops Deck
Support work for the Global Org Governance Project team
Partner with & take direction from the GPO Org & Talent strategy leader
MUST-have skills:
Bias for action & results orientation, strong analytical capability and a high degree of attention to detail
Stong analytical skills – Ability to analyze data and provide insights & previous experience with analytics / HR data/KPIs
Proven experience in successfully managing and implementing large scale operational projects including system applications, associated risk management/mitigation and supporting business readiness, communications and training activities is required (preferable previous experience delivering/supporting large scale hiring)

Strong verbal and written collaboration skills; ability to lead and influence others (at all levels) without direct reporting relationship
