DESCRIPTION

Job summary
The Senior Learning Experience Designer will have an imaginative and creative mindset regarding the development of innovative and value-add learning content for curriculum/initiaitves that impact strategic capabilities within the OpsTech &IT organization. This individual must employ agile instructional design and distribution methods (online, classroom, or blended) that best suit the content and learner profile as well as meet customer timelines and expectations.

Key job responsibilities
· Manage the design & development of large, complex multinational projects maximizing individual and L&D team resources.
· Stay current on new and groundbreaking methods for designing learning content which creates engaging learning experiences and pioneers new technology for enhanced learning initiatives that increase strategic capabilities within the organization.
· Drive innovation in learning modalities and technologies which can be scaled to meet global learning needs.
· Analyze learning programs required which promote a culture of continuous learning and improve critical technical skills throughout the organization. Success in this role will require out-of-the-box and strategic thinking.
· Review, improve and consistently ensure optimization of existing learning offering & oversee the introduction of new learning and development programs.
· Partner with the L&D team to develop evaluation strategies that measure business impact of successful knowledge transfer with data that supports improvement in strategic capabilities needed within the organization.
· Manage multiple complex development projects simultaneously.
· Evaluate existing learning assets/initiatives to proactively identify the most appropriate content and training method to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audiences.
· Contribute to the improvement of processes, dashboards and templates to minimize development time for new training materials.

This role will include travel (15%).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in HR, instructional design, human performance technology, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in related positions such as Instructional Designer, Content Developer, Curriculum Manager, Learning Experience Design, Learning Partner, Trainer, Communications, Education, UX Design or Multimedia training solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s Degree
· Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, balancing shifting priorities to meet budget, timing & quality requirements both as an individual contributor & indirectly managing peers.
· Ability to drive projects in a deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities; proven ability to prioritize effectively with excellent time management skills to drive project from initiation to execution.
· Proficiency in adult learning instructional design methods and best practices, as well as producing robust learning solutions in a variety of modalities (interactive live, ILVT, remote training) to leverage innovative methods that will increase the impact of L&D initiatives.
· Imaginative and innovative mindset which allowing for out the box thinking regarding the creation of relevant and engaging learning experiences.
· Proficiency working independently in a results-oriented environment; being both flexible, proactive and detail-oriented.
· Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
· Expert level of accountability.
· Demonstrated success with collaboration with SMEs, global stakeholders, and managers.
· Experience negotiating with and managing contract instructors and training vendors.
· Familiarity with SCORM files, setting up Learning Management System (LMS) portals and managing enrollment.
· Proficient with e-learning tools such as Articulate 360 suite or Adobe Captivate; Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, engagement software (PollEv, Nearpod) & collaboration tools.
