At Amazon Business (AB) Strategic Adoption Managers (SAMs) manage strategic accounts and partner with our business segments on behalf of our customers. SAMs help organizations transform how they view and manage spend and best utilize AB for purchasing needs. SAMs work with purchasing leadership and finance leadership to include Amazon Business as a key part of purchasing strategies, tools, and processes. SAMs are experts in AB solutions and they structure programs that incorporate AB solutions into existing purchasing processes and/or develop new processes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.

The Strategic Adoption team engages in a wide variety of projects for Customers and partners, providing collective AB Customer experience, best practices, and obsessing about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AB organization to bring access to product, service, and training teams, to deliver the right solutions and drive feature innovations for our Customers across all industries.

Key job responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
The SAM is the focal point for multiple, concurrent projects that vary in size and scope across multiple Customers. The SAM is accountable for the following aspects of each project:
· Analyze current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities for Amazon Business solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance
· Drive and accelerate spend adoption through advising Customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions
· Define requirements, scope program, and provide recommendations utilizing AB solutions.
· Oversee program execution including project scheduling and timely delivery across multiple and concurrent work streams
· Provide timely, clear and concise, and complete communications to Customer and Amazon Business Leadership
· Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and request support in escalation management when necessary
· Meet or exceed targets for Customer spend adoption
· Relay Customer needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

·5+ years in B2B – Large Enterprise Account Management
· Desire to work in fast-paced, challenging environment
· Proven ability to lead Customer engagements
· Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively advise senior leadership
· Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to roll-up your sleeves to innovate on behalf of Customers
· Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
· Ability to travel to Customer sites when required by project scope (25-40% travel)
· BA/BS degree

This role can be located out of any of the Amazon Business locations in the United States, which include Austin TX, Boston MA, Arlington VA, Chicago IL, New York NY, Tempe AZ and Seattle WA.
