Job Summary

FAR Government, Inc. is looking to hire housekeeping services personnel to provide Hospital Housekeeping Service for the Veterans Affairs (VA), Midwest Health Care (VISN 23) Sanitize and clean environments at the VA. Duties include maintain and perform up-scaled janitorial operations due to COVID-19:

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have knowledge, skills, and ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions. Must be able to absorb training and required cleaning procedures quickly.
• Must have a basic understanding of housekeeping duties and the hospital required training.

Specific Tasks:

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
• Maintain outdoor grounds, cut grass and trim bushes
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks
• Replace air filters and maintain HVAC systems
• Empty trash and recycling bins
