What You Will Do:

Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to support a new Military Development program that will shape the future of the PW Military engine business for decades to come. In this role, you will work closely with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs) to ensure successful task execution and develop your project leadership skills to become a future IPTL.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team Leads to meet technical and program requirements.
• Create and maintain hardware delivery schedules
• Support vendors to resolve manufacturing challenges and ensure hardware meets technical requirements.
• Coordinate component improvement tasks
• Utilize tools such as MS Project, Teamcenter, SAP, and Agile methodologies to manage project tasks and track progress.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2 years of relevant engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly with gas turbine engines.
• Experience with manufacturing and associated quality requirements.
• Prior work experience in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, scheduling software, and project management tools.

Hot Section Engineering (HSE)

Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units.

Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
