Capital One’s Customer Restrictions Product team is building a data destination of platforms, products, and processes that is well-managed and easy to govern, and where data is easy to find, understand, and use to enable real-time intelligent experiences. We excel in building, and supporting adoption of, scalable data tools and products as we build towards a modern, real-time, data environment.

The Senior Manager, Product Manager for the Customer Restrictions Product team plays a critical people leadership role in achieving our goals. This individual will lead and mentor a team of product managers in developing our universe of data products, including helping customers in moments that matter. Our data ecosystem plays a critical role in improving customer experience by enabling real-time, intelligent updates to unlock capabilities that will protect our customers from fraudulent activity and create quicker access to their funds by accelerating the response time.This role is crucial for transforming the data experience for all of our customer personas across Small Business Bank and will play a leading role in shaping local and partner roadmaps as we define shared capabilities that can be scaled across our line of business, and Enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing

OR

• Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 4 years of Product Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business and/or data strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
• Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management
• Experience with large-scale data platforms, data warehousing, data lakes, or real-time data streaming technologies
• Proven ability to define and drive multi-year product roadmaps
• Experience collaborating with product managers, data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers as both data producers, and consumers

This role is designated as a hybrid position. You are expected to adhere to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at your designated office location.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementNew York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementPhiladelphia, PA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementWilmington, DE: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
