The Experience

The Storytelling & Messaging Expert serves as the creative engine for executive leadership, bridging the gap between complex technical product narratives, storytelling and high-impact visual delivery. You are the storyteller of the key messages, transforming abstract strategic initiatives into clear, compelling stories and visually stunning narratives for sales, customers, and industry.

You bring executive agility: a high comfort level with ambiguity and rapid timeline shifts, and you thrive when asked to "whiteboard" a concept 24 hours before a major stage event. You have translational intelligence, the ability to take a deeply technical "product-first" slide and pivot it to a "value-first" customer narrative without losing accuracy. You are also adept at visual facilitation, extracting ideas from brainstorming sessions into clear, simple narratives and strong visuals.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Own messaging architecture and story lines for the business, including developing and maintaining a "Messaging and Visual Content Playbook" and a reusable asset and content library, so key messages are clear, easy to understand and reflect what the audience cares about
• Translate vision and complex technical roadmaps into cohesive, audience-specific stories anchored by visual elements, simplifying messaging to drive clarity and alignment on company and business organization direction
• Partner with your leadership, Executive Communications and Marketing to drive key narratives delivered via speaking engagements and easy-to-follow assets for internal and external audiences, and act as a "whiteboard partner" for rapid brainstorming, including art direction for designers or creative agencies when appropriate
• Streamline creative workflows and establish feedback loops that reduce revision cycles, ensuring 90%+ on-time delivery

You're Our Person If...

• 10-15 years experience in messaging, storytelling for software, platform or services business
• 8+ years in creative and visual design, with expert skills in Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and excellent experience in video editing
• Product marketing experience or GTM messaging experience
• Strong relationship builder with a proven track record of building trust across teams to surface Customer Success stories on our latest initiatives
