About this role

We are looking for a full-stack SWQA Tools Development Engineer with experience leading people and projects to join our Certification team. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated engineers to tackle some of the most sophisticated challenges in innovative technology. Mentored by the best minds in the industry, you will work on exciting, high-impact projects. Your immediate focus will be to learn about testing and existing A&T for the various certification programs the team covers (HLK, HDMI/DP, ESXi, Android CTS, etc.). Then you will provide new AI-driven solutions to improve productivity, tracking, and efficiency across our end-to-end workflows. This will lead to you owning certification programs and managing them across the company and with third-party certification authorities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Apply various certification kits to test software and hardware features of our products, ensuring certification-level quality across all stages of the development cycle, from emulation to production. This includes a wide range of functional areas, including graphics, display, audio, multimedia, USB, hypervisors, and virtual machines.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of all functional and process-related areas in the hardware and functional certification ecosystem. This knowledge will enable you to take full ownership of multiple Cert programs. You will also lead other Cert engineers on the distributed team and work with various multi-functional teams within the company.
  • Work actively with existing UI and automation tools by integrating internal and external APIs. Formulate and deploy multi-agent systems to optimize workflows and build new automated solutions.
  • Communicate accurate, timely, and effective status to management and other key internal/external partners.
  • As a SWQA Tool Developer, you will focus on process definition and improvement to support the team and company's success. You will develop creative solutions to difficult problems to help us reach our goals more efficiently.
  • Represent the team in meetings internally (release planning, bug scrubs, project status, etc.) and externally (cert authorities/partners).
  • Engage with development teams when reporting Certification bugs, and provide key debugging information and data points to help them close bugs quickly.
  • Be a quality champion for every NVIDIA product you work with and spread that same ethos throughout the team and various interpersonal units.

What we need to see:

  • Engineering Graduate in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML models or automation systems in real projects. Shown skills in AI coding assistants or autonomous development agents like OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot. Also skilled at automatically identifying and filing bugs to improve the efficiency of the entire QA workflow.
  • Full-stack Developer (Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core Web API, IIS Web hosting) with Python, C#, and SQL (Persistent data storage and queries), plus version control tools like GitHub/Perforce.
  • Expertise in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD, with the engineering difficulty of turning AI-assisted prototypes into production-ready products through automated validation, security checks, release management, and reliable deployment.
  • Strong ability to solve sophisticated problems and build innovative solutions.
  • Balance conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive demeanor while working on exciting, dynamic schedules.
  • Strong technical leadership and communication skills. Proven track record of collaborating on global projects across teams and time zones.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and other objective job-related factors. The expected base salary ranges for this position are:
140,000 USD – 224,250 USD for Level 3; and 168,000 USD – 270,250 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until November 3, 2026.

This posting is for an existing vacancy.
